I have been trying to convert this sims 2 hair and I cannot seem to get rid of this strange texture that is on the hair. If someone could help me with what I am doing wrong, that will be great. :bunny:
Here is the hair in package format. I am using TSR Workshop to make the hair.
Thank you Iomai for taking screenshots and testing the hair.

Those are faces that are messed up on the uvmap, not always easy to repair.
Assigne a material to the hair(in MS) and then select only the problem faces.
Vist the uvmap to check rhem out.
You might can repair them by moving their coordinates(you might have to regroup those faces first.)
I usually simply delete problem faces like that and divide the surrounding faces(or use extrude edges and move the coordinates of those new faces to get the original shape back.)
Then also move their coordinates on the uvmap.

The issue I'm having is that it looks perfectly fine in TSR Workshop, so its hard to tell what to exactly delete. Is this normal with this problem?

if it looks ok in tsrw you might want to check the boneassignements first?

Hmm, the bone assignment I have is this:
100% 7 Head_NEW
then down at the bottom (the very last one where you don't put a percent in) I have it as:
110 _ROOT

Assigne all to head_new and try
I never heard of meshes that were assigned to the root bone, better choose the neck and spine2 at that spot.

Sorry this is a huge bump, but I am still having issues with the hair, and I am stumped on how to get it fixed. Here is what it looks like in CAS and ingame:
