Hey everyone! I'm new and I also need some help.

Heyyy guys I'm one of the newbies, I have never put custom content on my game before so I'm pretty excited. Well I was until I tried to put it on. I followed all the steps and everything, I have the MOD file under EA sims 3 FrameworkSetup. Everything is in the MOD file as it should be. So I went to test my game, the video still plays and sparkles still show up when I lay a wall. I started from the beginning like the instructions said and still it didn't work. I also tried downloading content and putting it in the file (I did unzip everything so that's not the problem) and it didn't work either.
It's just a little frustrating....
Sorry if this isn't in the right place, but I've been looking for an hour and couldn't find a forum for this.

It sounds as though you have your framework wrong, as there is not supposed to be a 'FrameworkSetup' folder in there.
