I hope that this is the correct place to place this thread.
I want to know if it is possible to split a Custom outfit. For instance: say I download an outfit and then decide that I don't like the top (Shirt), but want to keep the bottom (shorts/pants), or visa versa. Sometimes there is an option to just download the top or bottom. Is there a mod that allows this?
Thanks in advance.

The only way it could be split is if the cc creator seperated the outfit into top + bottoms. It is impossible otherwise.

It's not IMPOSSIBLE... you just have to modify the mesh and its flags ;) In other words, you need to have some idea about how clothing creation works. I've seen several mods that split EA outfits. For information what you'd need, check out the tutorials and forums in the Create section.
However, if you're doing this with a CC mesh, I'd get permission from the original creator before you distribute it anywhere (for your own use, it shouldn't matter).

Thanks for the info, Srikandi.
