I have not seen this question asked and if it is previously asked I apologize and I know this might sound like a dumb question but I gotta ask it HOW MANY SIMS CAN A SIM HIRE FOR THEIR BUSINESS? and instead of hiring by phone CAN A SIM ASK ANOTHER SIM TO WORK FOR THEM? for example I created this sim to work for a specific sim so I wondered.
THANKS FOR ANSWERING.

I imagine they can hire as many as they want. Although you might get a bit of lag in you go and hire twenty salessims.
And yes, you can ask other sims to work for you. I've never actually done it, but I'm always seeing the option on sims my business owners interact with.

Another Question Sorry My Mind Is Full Of Questions Today Can You Set A Schedule For Your Sims Like A Sim Works From Like 9-1 And Another Sim Works From 1-5 Or Do You Have To Have A Hack To Do So?

Um, the capitalisation of every word isn't necessary. :) Anyway, I don't think you can set a schedule, but you can send workers home for the rest of the day or have them take a break and reassign other workers to do their job if you want.
ETA: Thinking about it, another possibility would be to have something like the SimBlender in your business and use it to teleport in workers when you want them to arrive.

I thought there was a mod or something you can download where you can set hours at the business and they would leave afterwards.

Although you can technically hire as many as you want, I personally think that hiring as many as you can afford is the better deal. Employees can be quite expensive to manage, and when the business is not profitable, letting go some workers is a must to keep the establishment going. ;) I would start with working the business alone or with a family member or household member. Then I would hire an employee to help work the business and possibly hire more employees. If business becomes super successful, then I would promote the best employee to become manager. :)

In order to hire a Sim not via the computer or phone you do have to have a small relationship with them. I'm not sure of the exact number but it's around 20 for the STR if not they simply reject your offer, they will also reject an offer if they have negative customer loyalty towards the business and a rejection does lower the relationship scores on both sides. You can only have a maximum of 8 employees according to the Prima guide.
One way I keep employee salaries down is to hire a Sim for a specific job, say cashier or restocker and then that's the only job they ever do. Since you have to increase their wages every time they earn a new badge if you skill them in various areas they become very pricey employees. The only ones I will do that with are potential managers and they have to have a few badges in the different skills.
Doesn't help to hire teenagers as they earn just as much as adults do. If you are hiring Sim for a specific job then their skill points can make a difference in how they will perform. High charisma makes for good sales, high logic for cashiers and high body for restocking basically they will earn the badges quicker than other Sims with low or no skills. Their personality also plays into it as an outgoing Sim will be a better sales person than a shy Sim and so forth.
I've never had more than 3 employees at any one business as it really does cut into your profit margin to have a bunch of them. I've never run a restaurant however and for that I can see that you might need quite a few employees or a very large family. I would also not start off with a bunch of employees as a new business does not get that many customers, unless you are using a hacked item to up the customer limit.
One last thing if you send an employee home for the day you have to wait a minimum of 6 hours before you can call them back to work. There are lot's of other things as well OFB is the one EP I think you really need to study the manual and or have a prima guide for. You might be able to find a prima guide still on line in a PDF format might be worth googling to see anyway.

There's a timeclock at simwardrobe.com that lets you set hours for your employees. That's the only thing I know of that will allow you to do that.

A sim can only hire 8 sims. Unless there's a hack that permits more.

The easy computer by christianlov http://www.modthesims.info/d/289244 will allow you to hire unlimited employees. I have quite a few businesses with 9-12 employees each. It will also allow you to hire any sim (other than the Humble's , Crumplebotton's etc) without having any previous relationship with them. I , personally , find that far more realistic than EA's prior relationship requirements. What are we , twelve and sharing a paper route? I love running business's and couldn't conceive of doing so without multitudes of mods from Squinge located here http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/board,773.0.html . I'm a salesman in the real world and I attempt to "dazzle , "hard sell and , yes , even "manipulate" a bit. Amazingly , according to EA , not a single one of those actions has caused me to come close to dropping dead on the spot.
