(Sorry if this isn't quite the right forum, the links told me to go to this one for this kind of problem.)
I downloaded some custom coat colors for horses, and they show up in the launcher but when I click install, it goes through the motions of installing, but the 'Installed' icon ends up not showing up and it wasn't greyed-out. I noticed that the installation time is a lot shorter than if something was successfully installed.
However, other custom content installs just fine, including most of other horse coats. A sim also wouldn't install, but I changed the name of the sim (it was in another language font). I tried installing it, and while it didn't show up as installed, it did show up in the game.
I cleared my caches, restarted my game, and got rid of my mods but it still wouldn't work. Other people have used these coats successfully so the files themselves are good. Even tried installing in small groups or one at a time. Nothing seems to work!
