When reinstalled, Neighborhoods don't Show!

Okay, I downlaoded a bad hack or something, so I uninstalled the game by going to Start-Programs-EA Games- The sims2-Uninstall. So then the game was off my system, and I reinstalled. Now, when I go to play, the already Maxis-created neighborhoods (like PleasentVeiw) are NOT there! So I quit the game and looked under My Documents-EA Games-The Sims2- Neighborhoods and there was no trace of any neighborhoods!! What the heck happened to my game?! Did the neighborhoods get erased or something, should I uninstall and then reinstall agian?! an someone please help, thanks.......

Go into "My Documents/EA Games" and delete the "Sims 2 folder".

Restart your game, the game will make a new "Sims 2 Folder" with all neighborhoods reset back to default.
