View Full Version : Duplicate pics in Create A Sim?

I have looked through the forum and I have not found this question (even though I am sure that I am not the only one with this problem)...

When I open up my 'create a sim' part I find multiple pics of the same outfit or hairstyle in the selection boxes.

When I click on it nothing happens except the same hairstyle being placed on the Sim over and over.

Did I not get the proper mesh for something and it just placed a random pic in there? Or is it merely duplicating the same file? What do I do to remove them and what is causing this to happen?

TIA!!! :)

I have the same problem. One of my outfits is featured in 'Create a Sim' 6 or 7 times. I only downloaded it once and Clean Install picks up no duplicates ??

You are missing a mesh that you were supposed to download seperately.

Thank you!

Do you know if there is a way to isolate and/or find out which one(s) it may be???

has a filemaid thats being worked on that will allow you to find which pieces are missing meshs, otherwise for now you have to do:

1) In the neighborhood view, initiate control-shift-c boolprop testingcheatsenabled true

2) In the CAS, you hit shift-n and it enabled debugger mode

3) WHen you highlight (move your mouse over) a picture, it will tell you the filename.

go to the downloads, and move that file out until you get a mesh.
