Perfect! I'm doing a random legacy and the "homemade" rule came up, and part of it is that you cannot cook a food unless you have the ingredients. This will stop my sims from autonomously "cheating" by making meals from ingredients they don't have.

This MOD made the game cooking and gardening, shopping skills make sense Thanks for this mod and I wish EA had made this part of the game.

I've been looking for this mod for so long now, I was starting to think it didn't exist. I'm so relieved to have finally found it

However, I also agree with a few people who commented before me about the snacks - to me it doesn't make sense that they would need ingredients. If you make a can of soup in real life, all you need is a can of soup - no tomatoes or anything else (unless you're getting all fancy with it, haha). I suppose it was only included so that they aren't "free", but I would rather have a version of this mod that did not modify the snacks, or even with tuneable ingredients as JT` said.

Of course, *ideally* we would be able to buy soup/cereal/icecream in the grocery store, but I don't know anything about feasible that might be!

Ugh, I want to use this mod but I'm still on patch 1.26. :> Guess I'll be patching since I REALLY REALLY want this mod.

I love this mod, makes the game more realistic, I have a single mother, with two kids, and now she's "working" on the side to literally put food on the table, (using your working bed mod also lol) the things we do to our sims lmao.

I want to try this but does it work with 1.31?

I've really enjoyed this mod thus far, because I like making things harder for my sims. They are so lazy & spoiled. But, I'm about to make the jump to 1.31, and so...out it goes for now. I'll check back later on this one for sure.
