Neighborhoods?
I'm gonna sound like an idiot for asking this but would anyone be kind enough to link me to a neighborhood they have found (or created)? I need a new neighborhood for my legacy challenge and the ones I have, I've really worn them out (used up all the good houses, e.g) I've been using Riverside, but it just doesn't give me that excitement anymore. If I could make myself a decent neighborhood, trust me, I would, but I'm horrible at that kind of stuff. So does anyone have any personal favorites or something? Thanks in advance.

http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=527700 I made this a while back, it's base game compatible with no CC, it features houses ranging from low to high cost, usually just fixture furnishings only (as I think a lot of people like to decorate themselves, according to their sims' personalities!), most of the houses are also more than one bedroom and are spacious and stuff, because who likes being cramped? Anyways (starting to feel like a real estate agent).
There's also Black Mesa by Huge Lunatic, I've played it extensively and it's pretty fantastic.

Populated, or unpopulated? Among the populated, Widespot's in my signature, but the number of pregnancies among the premades and the smallness of the population may make it unsuitable for legacy play. The Hood Building Group has uploaded three populated neighborhoods here at MTS:

As for the housing issue, there's lots of lots for upload here at MTS, which can easily fit into most neighborhoods. There's never any need to go without good houses or to stick to the prebuilt ones in a neighborhood. Houses are always being built and knocked down and moved and expanded in this life.
Ugly is in the heart of the beholder.
(My simblr isSim Media Res . Widespot,Widespot RFD: The Subhood, and Land Grant University are all available here. In case you care.)

If you want a challange then get the Fury & Lark hood for N99, it has a simple controller for the story and when you hit them then pops up tell you what happen and whats next.
http://n99forumpaks.jfade.com/index...ubcat=2&skip=10 you must download all 8 parts and put them all in the same folder and double click on part # 1 and it will extract all of them.
See my sig for all the Beginning Hoods and I have made all of them into shopping districts if you like mega hoods.
There is also this list of hoods. http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title...t:Neighborhoods

Someone at Garden of Shadows has put together Plasticbox's Elsewhere, Middleground, and Baskerville. That's my favourite to play on.

@hweldon81 that is an empty hood and I think OP wants hoods with Sims in them.

@marka93 I am well aware this hood is empty, being that it is my favourite to play.
I could be wrong, but I don't see the OP specifying either way whether they are looking for empty or occupied. I also noticed that they responded in the positive to checking out a hood that sounded empty (see post #3). Furthermore, several others have have suggested hoods, both occupied and not. Sometimes threads are picked up by others who are looking for something similar but not identical (i.e. occupied vs. not neighbourhoods) to the OP, even in the case that the OP was, in fact, only looking for occupied hoods.
I was suggesting something possibly broadly helpful (seems from the responses that it was), and my only guilt lies in being too lazy at the time to link where to get it. *hangs head* I don't for a second regret sharing the information, and am grateful to @Saturnfly for doing the rest of my leg work.
