Looking For Recipe Mods
As title suggests I'm looking for recipe mods. I've seen a few really good ones but they require expansions I don't have. The ones I don't have are Pets, Late Night, Island Paradise and Show Time.
I like Cinderellimouse's Cooking and Ingredients Overhaul + More Nectar Ingredients but that requires the Pets expansion. Can someone point me in the direction of a similar mod (or if your capable build me a mod, will love you forever ).
Much appreciated people.

I know Cinderelli's mod says it requires Pets, but in the description it says:
"* Light Version - only requires the base game and World Adventures
* Store Version - requires the base game and World Adventures and also makes use of the extra ingredients that came with store premium content, specifically the cucumbers and eggplant"
I think you should ask on the mod comments page if you can use it if you don't have Pets.

Most of the people who mod do so not because they are programmers, but because they love the Sims. Most started out knowing little about how to mod, but used some great tutorial available on this site, and asked lots of questions in the modding discussion section. My point is, if you want a mod, there are people willing and able to help you make one for yourself! Good luck!

Check out icemunmun's creations:

...among others.

And the grandaddy of them all when it comes to cooking flexibility. Though I'm pretty sure icarus_allsorts is not old enough to be a grandaddy, he probably won't mind the reference. No EPs required at all and it works with all of the other cooking/recipe mods we know and love.

Hadn't noticed the *light* version, thanks for pointing it out for me.

While on this topic....Does anyone know of a cooking mod that adds rice as an ingredient?....it annoys me making fried rice and multiple other dishes w/o rice.

BlackCat007's original Cooking and Ingredients Overhaul mod added rice as a basic ingredient. Cinderellimouse carries on that tradition in her updated versions of the Overhaul mod. It's just a grocery store ingredient though, it's not a harvestable crop.

@igazor
Thanks, Don't know why I didn't see that when I was looking through that one earlier. I think I need to stop looking at things so late in the day.
