This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Yes, I know, long time no objects, in fact, my last contributions were from June (Borg head implants) or August (in the Simstones set).
But here's something new from me and as you would expect, it's something for the Trekker...
This is a transporter console as seen aboard the USS Enterprise of the Kirk-era. It is purely decoration at the moment, so you will get no interactions to switch anything on or of, and you cannot beam anyone anywhere, of course. :D
It is animated, however, so you get blinking lights to make Montgomery Scott or transporter chief Kyle happy.
Like my captains chair, this is not a 100% replique, but close enough to make the fan happy. Mesh is by me, the textures are by me and some are based on images I found on the web but modified heavily.
This is of course recolorable, so if you want to make something completely different out of it, feel free, just let me know.
Please be careful, as the transporters tend to malfunction in the least desirable moment. :o)

"Hi there,
It's good to see you back on business Xanathon, I'm a big fan of your work. Well I'm a big sci-fi fan, so let's just say that your creations helped me a lot to reflect my passion in my Sims game
Thanks again, I'll check this new item you made for my Trekkiest sims. And happy Hollydays to you !" (Originally Posted by MaKo.I.Test)

Over at Paladin's Palace, there are working transporter pads that would go nicely with this.
Thanks, Xanathon! I love it!

You know, you could probobly making it interactive by using the same code things from a car, without the animation....
