When making TR files for my meshes I noticed that some textures didn't appear in the game, yes hidden, and that some recolors were not available for elders although they have a simular mesh. So I made TR files for that textures too.

While making Unlocking files for the af- and ambodytoga textures I noticed they showed up as custom content so I made TR files for it with the proper expansionpacklabel. And made TR files for other unlocked University clothing too.

One recommendation though;


I opened your packages and noticed they are not completely decostumized. The collection reference (inside 3IDR) belongs to Custom Content items (Group 0x0FFEFEFE, Instance 0x0FFE0080). You may want to change this and bin the items correcty. Here is a brief explanation by Lord Darcy:



That is how you control items to appear beside similar clothing/hair. You can check some packages and decostumized Maxis items, by me, here, also be sure to check Lord Darcy's thread on decostumized items.

Aha, this is new to me, wish I knew this before. So this is how the unhidden textures will appear next to/together with the other colors.
I wonder if I should change all the ageconversion TRfiles too, I mean as long as all colors appear together/next to each other in the catelog, it doesn't matter that they are not in the exact same spot between ... and ... in the catelog as the adult clothing, is it?? And they don't age into the same clothing, like with hairs, do they? Please let me know what you think about that.

I would change their collection reference. But, if you say they already appear next to each other there shouldn't be a problem then.

Well, I've looked into all the files again, trying to find out how exactly they get sorted in the clothingbin. I like it that all the TRfiles appear in front of the expansion- or stuffpack they belong to, that way I'm reminded a bit that it actually is custom content that was added. Most off the colors of the same mesh are nicely grouped together, sometimes even better than the adults textures (bucklecoat-AL).

So I want to keep the files the way it is now, unless there is a very good reason (like how to make them undeletable in CAS) that will make a change in useage of the files in game. I very much appriciate your input in this mather, but as I see it now, the changes you recommend will be a lot of work, that will not give a notacible change in how the TRfiles will behave in game. I'm not afraid of doing a lot of work on my files, but I always like to have at least some kind of positive result from it
