Hi, I should let you know something. I think there is a faulty cc in your set because when I click on Oaktowne Simple Interior Door (a maxis door) after I place it in a lot, the game crashes. However, this problem is fixed when I removed the set.

Thank you @simsllama I really appreciate you letting me know. I can't reproduce it in my game though. Would you be willing to test this set in your game without any other cc to see if it still crashes for you?

Is anyone else having an issue?

Update: There's definitely an issue with the set somewhere. I'm looking into it now.

Update II: @simsllama With the help of lady-silverwolf and shastakiss I was able to reproduce it. The issue was with the HW_doorExterior_Single-1t_diagonal package. The files have been updated if you want to re-download or you can get the individual file fix from Sim File Share HERE. Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention so it could be fixed.

Honeywell, I don't know if this is a true issue, but are the small build pieces supposed to show up when you use them? I tried using the 'accessory' trim items, and they didn't show up as I placed them. I've got the whole set, did not remove any of it, but those pieces are showing blank on the ground when I try to place them, or look at them.

That’s great to hear! I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to reply because it was well past the midnight here when you replied. Looking forward to using the set!

Fran, the trims sit on top of the grid and hang down so at the ground level they'd be below the surface (which is how they work as pool edging). I've attached a picture to show you what I mean.

If they don't look/work like they do in this picture for you then there is an issue -- I don't have the first clue what that issue would be but I'd work on figuring it out for you.

ETA: If they are working for you but you think you have a bunch of these under ground now, take out the files and load and save your lot and you can put them back in again if you want. None of the deco pieces leave behind a Maxis object so you'll never have a mess of sculptures and whatnot to clean up if one day you decide to take these out - they'll just be gone.

I haven't built a house from scratch in years but I am definitely feeling inspired by this new set. Thanks so much for continuing to create for TS2

If I'm particularly ambitious and don't get distracted I should be able to get all of the pictures and everything done within a few days. If not, hopefully no longer than a week or two.

Thanks again-again for the nice comments - each and every one is appreciated.

Thank you so much for this pack. I've never posted on this site, but it's so inspiring to me how strong The Sims 2 community is still going. I've finally returned to it after enough disappointment with 4 to realize that it's got all the content I've dreamed about and more, thanks to creators like you. I'm also eagerly awaiting this lot pack, as it will fit in perfectly with the northeastern style neighborhood I'm working on.

Thank you for this extensive set - I look forward to seeing what realistic builds I can use it for.

What I really appreciate more than anything though is that you made centred doors and windows - I also enjoy using phoenix_phaerie's Modern Georgian Manor Set but the lack of centred door and windows in that set made things problematic sometimes and since that set is 12 years old, phoenix_phaerie hadn't logged in for a long long time, and she forbids cloning - those centred doors proved won't ever come.

I also really appreciate the fact that you made matching garage doors, and I do have what I hope is an easy request for them - particularly the Bespoke Open Auto Garage Door - and that is for versions of that door that fits on 4 and 6 tiles (like the Sims 3 garage door and the matching double door CC) - I don't mind if it doesn't function as a garage door - it can be a window that looks like a garage door.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Honeywell! I adore your new set - it's even more fun building houses now and they all look so pretty! However, I'm having a tiny problem. I searched everywhere, but I can't find left versions of siding trims, floor edges, fascia boards... Is this on purpose and I'm just too dumb to use them properly or did you perhaps forgot to include them?

@ChristianBuilder Anything completely new is never easy (for me at least) and I don't take requests but there's more I wanted to do with this set so you never know. I'll be sure to keep your ideas in mind, thank you for the suggestions.

@tyraKeiraSims I forgot to explain so thanks for asking. There's two ways you can go about this:

1. There really are only right corners included but if you position the camera straight on, with the corner you want to cover on your right, and then select the corner from the catalog it'll always fit the right corner. Rotate the camera again so the next corner is on the right, select & place again. Keeping repeating that until all of the corners are covered.

2. The second way is to rotate the pieces on different tiles. This takes a little bit of trial and error until you get the hang of it but once you do it's quicker than having to keep re-selecting these from the catalog. See pics for how this way works:

Wow! Wow, wow, wow! What a great set, Honeywell. Thank you for such a complete, gorgeous building set. Just wondering if you have any plans to upload the sample houses you pictured? They're all adorable. Thanks again!

Seriously thinking of deleting all of my 9k pieces of other content and just leaving this set, everything I like about this set is everything I like.
Well made, well thought out, well organized, just....well, awesome.

Thank you so much!

I'm not a builder in any way (unless you want a boxy box, that is), but I love this set. :lovestruc So many new options to give our houses variety! (Every house in my contemporary 'hood will get a porch now, just so I can use the Gingerbread thingie, I'm completely in love with it.) Thank you so much for sharing - and congrats on the feature!

Wow! How will I ever find the time to use all this? It took me a week just to finally give the post a good reading. Great work.

I 'm especially excited about the defaulted arboreal stairs. That was one of those things on my To-Do (Probably-Never-To-Be-Done) List.

HW, this is simply beautiful. All the colors, the window boxes....I'm still working out how to place all the trims and rails, but this set is already at the top of my list for building. Thanks for sharing!

Hi! I adore this entire set, but will you be able to release a version of the roofs that's compatible with Niol's Roof Shader Mod? The colors are very bright when I have that mod in
