This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
you´ll find them in outdoor/decorative

feel free for recolors. i need some :-)

the basemesh is the 0 into the numbers.package. the numbers 1to9 are recolors. use the textfunction in your favorite paintingprog. for new styles of the numbers.

you can use the cheats moveobjects on and snapobjectstogrid false to build numbers above 9

ADD: recolor in gold reflection
ADD: recolor in iron black

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Three things --

1 -- For those who are unsure, I do not have any expansion packs but play The Sims 2 original (in fact nowadays on the Mac) and these numbers appear fine in that game. They're not easy to spot in the outdoor/decorative menu because the little icon for them looks like something else. In my menu they come up there in second place (because of their low $10 price tag).

2 -- Thanks for this. I've been wondering when someone would finally create house numbers. They are great.

3 -- However ... while I'm accustomed to the code [ moveobjects on/off ] and use it occasionally, I cannot seem to use [ snapobjectstogrid true/false ]. Did I get that right? Not being able to use that code means I cannot place multi-digit numbers closely. Hmmmmm .......

i think you have to use the snapobjectstogrid true/false cheat for mutiple numbers

and thanks for your comment LorenRobb

Um .... yes, I did understand that, Supatramp, but what I meant to say was that the code simply did not work for me. I don't know why. I thought maybe I had typed it wrongly. But apparently not. It's odd, since the other codes all work fine. I was hoping you were going to say something like "Oh, you have to do yada, yada, yada ...."

Ah well.

OK, a small but significant error I made, which I've solved. The second code (snapobjectstogrid) requires the string [ boolProp ] ahead of it. The other does not.

For those needing to group [email protected]'s numbers close together to form values above 9, you need two codes. Three, if you don't usually have cheats enabled.

[ boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true ]
[ moveobjects on ]
[ boolProp snapObjectstoGrid false ]

It's a very good idea to turn these things off immediately you've done whatever you wanted to do. They are 'dangerous' codes to have operating under normal circumstances.

Thankyou so much, these are great. I have had them in game before, and they complete the exterior of my homes. I cleaned out my downloads folder, and they were the first thing I downloaded- can't live without them!

I'm pretty sure they're amazing, but they don't show up in my game.

Edit: I found them in MISCELLANEOUS, not Wall Hangings, while it is posted in that category.
