Works with version 1.26-1.42l[/COLOR]

What it does...
This object plays custom and EA animations. Animations can be entered by name into a editable playlist, and played in sequence, and the sequence can also be looped.

Who it is for...
Machinima artists and those wanting to make/test custom animations without having to make an object or write scripts to do it.

Interactions

Add to playlist - gives the option to add an animation to the current animation player's playlist(animation player have their own playlists).
Show current playlist - shows the current playlist
Insert in playlist - inserts the entered animation into the playlist where specified
Delete from playlist - deletes the specified animation from the playlist
Play - plays the current playlist to the end
Play Looped - loops through the playlist until canceled by the user
Reset - clears the current playlist

Use
This object is found in Misc/Decorations. Just click the player and select 'Add to Playlist', type in the name of the animation you want to play, and press Enter. You then can add more animations, or just press Enter again to exit. Then click the player again and select 'Play' or 'Play Looped', and the animation(s) will play in the order they were entered. Pauses between animations can be added by adding 'Pause(<time to pause>)' or 'Wait(<time to wait>)' to the playlist.

Does this work with NRaas Animator?
Not only does it work with it, but I suggest using them together.

I put it in my game but I get 'No interactions available'...
If you have the object in the game, but can't use it due to the "No interactions available" issue, take a good long look at Game Help:Installing Sims 3 Package Files/Old Way to New Way

Thank you for this mod/utility. It is quiet astounding. However, there is already an existing animator made by Twallan - the NRass Animator. How does your animator differ from Twallan? It will not conflict if I install this animator along with Twallan's?

You guys rock! Now what we need are simplified tools or utilities that would allow idiots like me to easily do custom animations or other than those existing in EA.

Thank you cmomoney!

ReMs: No limit, it plays animations to the end.

bootz: those questions were answered in the description.

You are officially my new Favorite creator. that's all I have to say without out you, Sims 3 would not be playable most of the time. )

I hope creators now can add animations to different custom created objects now.

It also plays poses..but for only one frame. You can make your own custom animations and be able to play them with this. make sure you make the frames longer than 1 and make the animations slow and not sonic fast or the game wont pick it up

They are listed in FullBuild0...they're the CLIPs. Use S3PE to open your Electronic Arts folder, go to Sims 3 folder, select GameData folder, then Shared folder, and finally the Packages folder...you'll see FullBuild0 in there. Click on it and once the list comes up scroll to the CLIPs to get the list.

I just tried to get the list of animations, but I got this error message My access to the path was denied.
It DID tell me that the current package had unsaved changes, and I said don't save them.

[EDIT]
Oh, waitwaitwait!!! I saw a little box that said Open as Read-Only, so I clicked it and it worked! Thanks! :P

[EDIT2]
Omg there's like a gazillion CLIP files in there! ALL of those are animations!? YIKES!

It would be awesome if one could save the playlist, but I guess that wouldn't be possible.
Great addition to the game again ! Thank you very much !

I'm not interested in downloading SimPE myself - could someone (preferably with all EPs!!) open the Fullbuild packages and make a list of the clips?

This is so totally beyond awesome. I've been using your equally awesome Pose Player to trigger my custom animations but this is really going to open up a whole new realm of possibility I really like the looping feature too. Thanks for doing this
