This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Hi All,

You may have noticed the MTS2 Calendar competion that ran a little while ago - well, here is a proper Sims 2 item based on that competition!

Featuring:
- 120gsm quality paper for your calender flipping needs
- High resolution sneak-o-scope depth perception images, for the ultimate in reality
- A 1 inch, flat headed pure 100% alloy nail, so your calendar never falls off the wall
- An automatic scent emitter when you change to July, to brighten up any summers day!
- Some hot babes :D

The calendar can be changed either manually by selecting the month, or will change automatically at midnight, providing a brand spanking new image every day! (Well, for 12 days anyway...)

Credits:
- A huge thanks to Inge Jones, who created the Sims 2 Object for the game
- Thanks to Queenpossum for running the contest at MTS2
- LyricLee & tkdjunkie, for the preview pic
- simsample, lilsweetcori, 9b8ll, superfly, queenpossum, simminchick11, dazzle, pinkxdaisies, HotCoffeeandCake (mmm yummy!), LyricLee - all content winning entrants.
- everybody who submitted an entry

We hope you enjoy this object as much as we did.

Regards,
Delphy & the MTS2 Staff

Wow. This is such a cute addition to the game, and the screenshots are all just wonderful. Those of you who took those pictures - congrats. Stunning. Inge - nice work on the base object, very slick!

I hope there will be an official MTS2 calendar contest sometime next year, too. Maybe then I'll notice it in time to enter.

Are recolors allowed for this object, out of curiosity? I didn't see that specified, so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. As it stands, I'm not much of a content creator (I sort of suck at it, because I haven't taken the time to learn how), so I guess I'm not really even asking for me.

I am planning to release at Simlogical a base object with no pictures for people who want to make their own calendars with their own images. Or I think it would be ok to use this one, except of course the pictures on it are copyright of MTS2 and the competition entrants, so you do have to supply your own images before sharing.

You can't recolour in the normal way because of the automatic material changes that take place. You have to clone the whole object and directly edit the TXTR images that are produced on the clone. Remember a completely cloned object needs a new unique GUID.
