This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
So, I actually have two other boots and another cuff on my computer, but when I went to check them in the game, they just looked bad. Most superhero sims, as near as I can tell, wear perfectly skintight clothing, so my accessories looked too bulky and awkward. I'm going to try to adjust them. But I still wanted to get something up before I went to sleep, so here are two that came out all right.
Batman wears the spike cuffs, and Wolverine wears the v-shaped boots. Wolvie's screenshot didn't come out so good, but I couldn't zoom in anymore (the fuzziness is just my sucky computer). Both accessories are for both genders and ages child-elder, and can be worn with other accessories. All content is either by Maxis or me.
I think this is like my sixth upload in twelve days. That's an average of an upload every other day. I'm starting to burn out, and it's showing in my work (see badly taken screenshots). As much as I would love to provide for everyone's superhero/fantasty/anime/sci-fi meshing needs, I might have to take a break for a few days.
Oh yeah, recolor at will. Seriously. I stink at coloring these things.
