This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.

In the attached images, the Gold Shield with the Embossed Crests shows the DEFAULT colors as included in the **MAIN PACKAGE**. The other images show the color combinations as a result of adding the two recolor packages also.
For those interested:
The lion crest is a common one found in many family crests across the world. This one was gained from a website somewhere (can not recall where now) and then modified and edited.
The Simoleon symbol we all know (and love).
The stylised figure (top left crest) was originally a forehead tattoo design I created, which never made it as a tattoo - however as it resembled a sim (well a little imagination helps
) I thought it would be perfect on the crest.
The final design (titled
'Organic Mandala') was one I came up with almost 10 years ago, originally in watercolors and later in colored pencil. Symbolising the 'rings' of protection of life it also fit nicely with the concept of 'security'.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy.
