What do you want to do on the site today?

Tired of your visiting sims going in through the garage instead of the front door only a few steps away? This garage door has been hacked to forbid pedestrian traffic.

You may include this door in lots you upload to MTS2 and othersites, but please let them know about the door in the lot description. It might also be nice to include a link here. Do not make the door available as a separate download on other sites without PM'ing me first for permission.

Thanks to Quaxi, Peter Jones and other SimPE developers, since we couldn't do things like this without tools like SimPE and the plugins that go with it. Thanks also to Inge Jones for her great doors that gave me examples to code from, and for patiently answering my newbie questions.

New Version 1.0 on 2006-01-02: Added door route blocker flag to prevent sims from lusting after objects on the other side of the garage door, and cleaned up the code a bit.

New Version 1.1 on 2006-01-22: The garage door is now available in all the colors the original garage door comes with in the game.


This hack is unsupported
I don't have time for making hacks anymore. This hack contains no global overrides so I believe it will likely be safe to use when upgrading to new EPs.
