At long last, the first part of the new Hi-Res Female BodyShape Variety Set is complete.

NOTE: Due to their adult nature, the Skintones and Nude meshes have been posted separately in the Adult section, here: Nudes & Skintones

This collection is an updated version of the original Female BodyShape Variety Collection posted here: Original BodyShape Set . It is intended to allow variety in the sizes of the women in The Sims 2, rather than just the normal Skinny/Fat sizes in the game. By choosing a custom skintone and clothing, you can make your Sim a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

This set includes a wide range of clothing for Adults and Teens, in all categories, for the following Hip sizes:
Adult: 32, 36, 38, 40
Teen: Sm, Lg, XL

In this set, all full-body outfits have the default Maxis 34B top size.

This set includes the entire initial outfit list for the adults, which will later include the various top sizes as well. The Teen sizes included here is a Starter Set, a small selection of clothing to get folks started. I will expand on this collection at a later time.

This release includes all of the Bottom Sizes listed for the following Maxis outfits from the base game:

Each mesh has only one outfit texture, however converting your favorites to use the new meshes is quite easy. I posted a tutorial a while back for converting clothes and skintones to custom meshes: Clothing Conversion Tutorial

Also included in in "BodyShapes_Bottoms_Collections" are 4 Collection files, which are pre-filled with the appropriate clothing. These should go in your Collections folder in your MyDocs\EA Games\The Sims 2 folder. All other files should be extracted to Downloads like any other custom mesh/clothing.

I have also included the BottomTest family, seen previously in the Preview post here. This includes one Sim for each size, adult and teen. Please note I have all 3 expansions installed, so these will probably be required to install the family. All other files are totally non-expansion-dependent and will work on all versions.

*IMPORTANT* These meshes WILL conflict with the previous BodyShape meshes for these sizes, due to a new naming system for the files. The "BottomSetMeshCleanup.rar" file contains a batch script that will delete any of my old meshes found in the directory it is run from. Simply extract this file to the folder you put your meshes in, and run it, and it will delete any meshes I have replaced in the new set. Please note this also includes the nude meshes, which have been uploaded in a separate post. The script will ask for confirmation before deleting anything. If you are not comfortable running a script, you MUST delete the following files for the new set to work properly:

NOTE: Regarding custom outfits based on previous meshes, all outfits will automatically use the updated replacement meshes, as I have only changed the filenames but not the internal references, so creators do NOT have to re-do any outfits they have created for these sizes, they will update automatically.

Feel free to modify these meshes and outfits in any way you please, just give me credit for the meshes if you post somewhere else, and don't post anything to a pay site! I insist my creations remain free for everyone to share and enjoy.
