Eons ago the planet Xanthar was destroyed by its sun going nova. The mental essences of the inhabitants cumulated into three spherical entities, one for each caste of the Xanthars, marked by the castes sacred color. Now this artifact - also known as "The Lights Of Xanthar" is an oracle, each of the spheres is able to answer questions, blue about the past, red about the present and green regarding the future. But beware, the answers are cryptic...

This is another one of my animated lamps, this one was inspired by Classic Star Trek (or early TNG), an object of this style could have been seen in an episode of the beforementioned easily. It's an hommage to the "homemade-looking" scifi-sfx.

When inactive, you see three globes on pedestals, one red, one green, one blue. When activated you get an outer sphere scintillating through colors and an inner sphere with a kind of cloudy texture-animation. This looks quite cool and the screenshots will not give even a far impression of how cool this looks. Of course this gizmo casts light, when in it's "on" state.

This is a perfect addition for sf-themed Sims2-movies.

Sorry for the filesize, but the animated texture is quite big. It's worth it, though...

Have lots of fun with this, but be careful: The entities mental emanations are strong enough to let the weak-minded just fade away into unconciousness if in close contact!

Edit: I took the freedom to add an audio teaser and I hope the admins and moderators of MTS2 do not mind. I will not regularily add those to my posts, this is a special. If this is not okay with you, I will delete it at once!
If you want to get into the mood for this object, please listen to the mp3 included in the xanthar_teaser.rar before looking at the object in the game. And, yes, that's me speaking...
I give you any freedom and permission to use this audio-file in Sims 2 movies!
