This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Hi people!
Noticed that there were no recolors for this my favourite cheap kitchen counter here on MTS2 except for a transparent one, and as I was fed up with the original 3 options you get I made a couple of new ones!
You can download these counter recolors individually or all of them in one zipped set-file. The set contains these recolors:
Countertops:
- A normal white version of the standard gray color
- A beige counter to match the white/beige kitchen set from
Pixel Sims
- A wood counter matching my favourite Maxis wooden floor
- A wood counter to match the Maxis porch wood
- A black tile counter matching a Maxis black tile floor
- A apricot tile counter matching my favourite Maxis tile floor
Counterfinish:
- A white version of metal thingys that hold the counter up if there is no appliance thingy underneath.
All items are game tested and work, they get dirty as they should and they look good! I had to struggle to get the squares to get square for the tile counters, the texture is for some reason 75% distorted in one direction, but as it is now I think it looks fine, even in the corner countertops.
A huge 'thank you', lots of hugs and credit goes out to
IgnorantBliss who helped me when my
SimPE wouldn't give me proper packages to work with, thanks! Numenor deserves some credit as well, for everything I've done acctually, since he wrote the tutorial that taught me how to recolor
I hope you enjoy these! A tip is to download Numenor's "SEP (Slot Enable Package)" that will enable you to put things on the corner counters!!
You will find it here:

Another tip is a wallpaper I made that matches the apricot tile floor, you will find it here:

Lots of love for MTS2!

PS.
The sim who's cooking in the pictures is my little sister's self sim and that sim has with great patience made lots and lots of sandwiches to test the counters ability to get dirty, applause for that ;P If you wonder where you can get the food processor in the pics you can get it here:
