This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.

Okay, now that I know everyone is on the same page with this set:

As I was working on the Keep I began to wonder how the larger population, the peasants, serfs, etc. would live.

So I looked at all the objects maxis had made, and the objects and recolors I had downloaded. Much of it is too, nice or too smooth, etc. for the hardscrabble existence Eurpoean peasants would have had. . . so I made some.

These are recolors of maxis objects, recolored by me using Wizards of SimPE and Sims2 Homecarfters.

I wanted wood that looked kind of abused, worn, cracked, weathered and rough hewn.

So I came up with three types of wood that is used in every piece of furniture:
  • old & abused
  • bleached & weathered
  • cracked & weathered

2 exterior walls
1 interior wall (lighter)

hovel tables zip file

also include are 4 toy boxes. One toy box isn't really a toy box, as Edward is demonstrating, it's storage container for lentils with a prize inside. Edward found it! Good job Edward! mesh: Rip Co. Toy Bin
