6 Sim Lane was always my favorite house from The Sims 1 (its the one in the left) and I noticed a bit back people kept re-making older Sims 1 houses. However this one never got re-made so I took it upon myself to do so and decided to share it with all of you!

I had Nightlife and Uni installed when i made this so there might be some stuff required from those (wallpaper if anything) although in the submission guidelines they say any lot packaged with NL will require NL so sorry to all you folks who dont have it but i dont really want to uninstall NL just to repackage it and stuff....

No custom content was used so if you have the core game, uni, and nightlife, it should work right out of the box (although as i said before, not sure if any of the walls i used are from uni). If it turns out to need uni (ie: for the walls) lemmie know and i'll update this accordingly.

Any way, I had to improvise on some things when making this house. For example, the two trees in the front yard should be those Fir trees buuut TS2 doesnt have them so i picked something reletivly similar. As far as the walls/floors go i picked stuff which looked close to the original if i couldnt find something which was the same (ie: the bedroom has a dark wood planking but the original has line pine wood).

Also the lot itself is 2x3 tiles larger than the original due to TS2 not having fractional lot sizes (3x3 lot was the closest without being smaller).

Overal though I'd say its a fairly true reproduction and not too bad for my first submission

Note: I have the radience light system (originally made by GunMod but i use a newer version updated by some one else) so if you dont have that installed the lighting might look different in your game than in the screen shots. Nothing that effects game play or anything like that, just a cosmetic thing.

Almost forgot to add cost ^^; opps!

Cost: 14,840
1 Floor
1 Bed, 1 Bath
Large Yard for plenty of room to expand (in TS1 i usually ended up making a 2 story mansion out of it so there is PLENTY of expantion room for those not familiar with the original upon which this is based)

edit: As requested by a couple of you, for those who want the same lighting effects as in the pictures you can get the lighting mod from here... Not sure if its the same version I have but its about the same so it should give similar results: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=101456&highlight=ambient+light+system

Also there is 1 more screen shot which is of the ORIGINAL house so you can have something to compare it to (nothing fancy but it should give the idea)
