I think I understand which set you are referring too. The wainscotting is interesting, too, but there's no reason to duplicate that work, imho... Besides, it is rarely used in Italian homes (I've seen them only a couple of times, in public buildings, and usually made in plastic: bleah! ), and I prefer to create what I know about.

I've finally started my Journal. Information only, no questions.

My latest activity: CEP 9.2.0! - AnyGameStarter 2.1.1 (UPD) - Scriptorium v.2.2f - Photo & Plaques hide with walls - Magazine Rack (UPD) - Animated Windows Hack (UPD) - Custom Instrument Hack (UPD) - Drivable Cars Without Nightlife (UPD) - Courtesy Lights (FIX) - Custom Fence-Arches - Painting-TV - Smarter Lights (UPD)

I *DON'T* accept requests, sorry.

Please reconsider making wainscoting!

The "other" set mentioned does not make allowances for wall holes and so is not very useful.

I have tons of downloaded walls with wainscot trim and still can't seem to find one to match the doors and windows when I'm creating a new home. Your decorative crowns with wainscoting would completely solve this problem! (and allow me to delete a very large chunk of walls from my downloads folder...) If you are not familiar with any of the wood wainscot styles, you can find lots of them on many Sims 2 sites (including this one!) to give you ideas on how to design them.

If you look at the huge number of Sims 2 walls on download sites that have wainscoting, you'll see how truly popular it is. I hope you will consider my plea.

Thanks for all the lovely and useful creations that you both have given to the Sims world...I use most of them in my game!

I have to add that I really appreciate all the information you post with ya'lls uploads. It helps out a great deal as sometimes Custom Content can be really confusing. You let people know what it does, how it works and what's so neat about it so efficiently it's just so very nice. I adore the concept of this very much and I can't wait to use it in my buildings. Thank You, both of you, for creating something some useful and practical that not only adds realism but just plain smexiness to any house.

My love for you was so deep, It nearly destroyed me.

I heart you guys so hard for this. Not that this set isn't made of awesome and win but does anyone have a link to this so-called "other set" that's similar but has the wainscoting? My googling doesn't seem to be finding it and I'd like to take a look at it. Feel free to PM/email if for some reason posting it in the thread is not appropriate.

As an added side bonus for this set, it has helped me clear out my walls downloads a lot; I no longer need to keep all the variations of walls in various creator sets I download. I only need the plain walls and varieties not covered by the options in this set.

Shorter baseboard ("kickmoulding", I guess) would be nice.

Because MaryLou is currently interested in other things than the Sims2M; also, we both dislike reworking old creations, we rather prefer create something new.
