The challenge

A request from http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=594278

When HelloGoodbye 2007 asked me to build this villa, I thought it would be a challenge.
It indeed was, several times I wanted to chuck, but after all I am glad I persisted.
Here and there the size is adjusted to make it simmable or just for better proportions.
I hope he likes it and you all too, of course.

This spacious villa is built with traditional and solid materials but surprisingly modern in the finishing.
Your hardworking and wealthier Sims will love it. There is plenty of room to live with a family and for pets it is a heaven on earth.
You’re invited to enjoy the serenity of the more than luxuriant garden. Come and see it yourself.

I thought of bringing this furnished as shown, but considered, what is more simple than just make everybody happy and put the whole bunch into the up-load and say a simple word of thanks. There is a big chance everything will be taken for granted and no threads or sites will be visited, so;
A shopping list of the used furniture -and very important too- the sites where I got the re-colours from, gives more credit to all the magnificent people with the skills to make everything look brilliant and accurately detailed.

Shopping list for the furniture and accessories shown on the pictures:
Living and dining room from http://stylistsims.de.vu/ with the wonderful re-colours of Jonesi at http://www.reflexsimsforum.com/
Cushions in the livingroom from www.wallsims.net ws_ocean
A lot of accessories and cushions in the masterbedroom come from http://mangosims2.free.fr aswell as the sink and toilet from the masterbathroom ligne Magnolia
Bath , Shower, painting and scale are from Solander at www.pimp-my-sims.com
The kitchen made by Simtomatic at http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=192281

The garden:
A terrace on the first level directly connected to the house with connecting stairs to the garden.

The design of the house is from Globalhousesplan http://www.globalhouseplans.com/hou...get_19435__.htm
The idea to build comes from http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=594278

The price of the lot as shown is 176.141,- Simmolians
Built on a 4x5 lot
Built with original EP1-2-3-4

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) or Stuffit (Mac) to extract the .sims2pack file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Default Bravo!
Wonderful job! Thanks so much for sharing.

I was wondering if you've any idea where to find Shaklins stuff now. The link included is broken and I know the site is down. Is this something that could be included here? =)

You need to download all the separate downloads for the complete house to show up. No furniture is included however.

This is a very beautiful house, spend hours getting the objects, which i may add, i enjoyed very much tho i also seem to have this blue flashing where the trees on the side of the house is as well as the windows.
Other then that I may be missing some objects which i just cant find cuz some of the site are not up anymore, but thats ok, cuz YOU did and excellent job, thank you so much for sharing with us!

*Yeah!, got hold of sunairsims website, but it only worked with IE for me and not firefox, http://sunairsims.enorth.com.cn/ and got the bed, but wont you please if its not to much trouble put up the rest of the shopping list, I really don't mind spending hours looking for the goodies, like the recolors of Alias bedroom Endevours, I cant seem to find the purple color you have in your screenshot, as well as the cars you used, Solanders bathroom? shooo cant seem to find that one either. The blue flashing of the windows is something I have seen more in other up-loads. Just install the original windows again. http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=188669

Good luck

Hi Marinavila, during installing other EP's I have lost all my houses. If I should considder downloading this house and remove everything around it and re-upload the "naked" house, I don't know what the effect is of EP 1-5 having installed. But if you don't want CC you can download only the house and remove and replace everything to Maxis objects.
