This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS2 and in the community.
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Has your Sim ever looked at their homes, and found something missing? Are they tired of buying wallcover after wallcover just to give their homes that nice insulated-by-nature touch?
Now Sims can enjoy the beauty of ivy without having to sift through hundreds upon hundreds of different exterior walls! (Check out the first of this set ::

This is a new and fairly simple mesh, cloned from a curtain, with a working diagonal! So this object functions just as a curtain would - but looks best outside.
There are eight ivy options available in this download; 4 shown in the pic above and 4 that are flipped versions of those for seamless multi-story crawling*.
Also, 4 of the recolours available are made specifically for corners or to create a pattern with 2 walls.
The corner pieces are best used on inward corners (see above pics). I am currently working on a corner piece to fit outside corners, otherwise, there is a gap due to the way walls work in the game.
This object works great in conjuction with my other set ::
Exterior Hanging Wall Ivy ::
"move_objects on" can create some great layers of ivy!
This object sits closer to the wall than my hanging ivy, so it works best on window/door-less walls. Cleverly planned recolors can make this easy on your favorite window set, otherwise, I suggest getting the hanging ivy for windows and doors.
A Recolour Template is available in the package! Do not recolour the mesh marked "DIAGONAL", it won't work. The Diagonal version pulls its textures from the Straight version, so recolour the mesh marked "STRAIGHT" for the least frustrating results.
My Policy:

Made with SimPE, Wings3D, UVMapper, Macromedia Fireworks
Faces: 12
Vertices: 8
Textures: mayang
Cloned from "Veil of Dreams" curtain.
*Seamless crawling is done by placing the ivy on multiple stories. The idea is that the "seams" fit together, and the textures are made to do so. Your game's light settings may create shading that somewhat voids this affect, depending on the recolour chosen. See the .txt file for more information.
Update:
After several reports (including those from my "testers"), it seems this is compatible with all EPs, so I've simply removed the EP requirements for the object.
