Thanks for this great idea which resolved this problem. I made many platform extending onto the water in different lots, I was annoyed because my Sims could'nt fish on this platform.

If grey matter were more pink, the world would have less dark ideas...

Very, very excellent idea!!!

It's annoying that the sims can't normally fish off of the pier/boardwalks that I have for my ocean-heavy lots... This will fix that right up! :D

This is so cool.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

Thank you very much for this marvelous download, I've always wanted my sims to fish from my bridge on the backyard pond, now they can!

I really like this mod. And it has solved a few problems I had on some small lots and no room for a pond, etc. So far I have not had any problems and I have many, many custom items and hacks. However, I do have one related question, If you would allow:How do you make the dock/pier/platform sit right on the water? Instead of above the water 4 clicks as in the maxis decking? This has been a frustrating problem for me.

I had an out of body experience the other day. Actually I liked it so much I didn't go back. Eternal Free Spirit
I want to be a sim and live in my game forever.:)
It's called 'Common Sense", so why do so few people have it? ;p

Hi there. This is a great object and I would love to have it for some custom lots I got but the thing is the whole object is gray in my game. In buy mode and live mode, not transparent but solid gray. I do have screen-shots of the problem if you need them, I'm just not sure how to attach one. Hopefully someone still reads this. Thanks.
