This is so cool! I've wanted a way that cats could just go outside without a litterbox cluttering the house. Thank you so much! I will definitely get use out of this

You have the most useful and wonderful things. This makes it much more realistic if you want to have an outside cat. Thank you.

I love the semi invisible litter box. Sometimes my Sims have no space for a litter box in their home, but to put one outside looks a little weird. But now it's just a pile of sand, so it isn't weird!
Thank you, pfish!

EXACTLY what I was looking for! I want the cat to go outside to do its business and not leave a puddle. This is fantastic! Thankyou.

Wonderful idea! Perfect for other-species cats, like for my zoos and parks, who don't use a litterbox! Thankyou

Thank you! I have a kitty who is inside/outside, and we only use a litterbox with him if we're evacuating (litterbox = soda flat with newspapers!)

Hello. Am not sure if coding has changed with later Sims 2 EP's and SP's but this invisible recolour has become a default replacement and has completely removed the original litter box- as well as any recolours. I have tried removing all recolours but this doesn't bring back the original litter box. Is there any way of fixing this please, other than a total game re-install? Many thanks.

I have fixed the problem today so no worries. I used SimPE. The invisible litter tray was an object in itself, not a recolour, and it had one tiny error... Here's how it got fixed, in case anyone else has this issue:

1) I opened Fullinvisiblelittlebox in SimPE - after first making a copy on my desktop in case this went wrong!
2) In the Resource Tree, I clicked on Material Override
3) I clicked the top one (very long number) in the Resource List Name panel
4) In the CPF Editor (bottom left panel,) the very bottom 'default material (dBoolean) = true' - I set this to 0 in the Value pane (bottom right) which then set the default material (dBoolean) value to 'false'.
5) I committed this and saved the file.

This has now created the invisible litter tray as a separate object to the default Maxis one... And all the recolours now show up in the default Maxis one.
