THIS IS MY FIRST MESH-so please be gentle...

First let me say if anyone here at MTS2 has already done this, sorry, I couldn't find it.

I have always hated it while playing, the lights keep getting in my way. I went on a search for a smaller light...couldn't find any here at MTS2 and the one I found at TSR was of course for subscribers only...so I did without...Until I finally got brave, read every tutorial I could find on object meshing here at MTS2 and finally made my own tiny ceiling light and then decided to share with everyone here. Hope you like it and can use it...The light is priced at $25 for your simmies.

As you can see it is TINY!!!

It isn't pretty but who cares, you can't even see it. I made it as small as I could get it with the fewest number of polygons I could get (I think)...The catalog picture is different due to the 1st mesh I made was a small round ball with 108 polygons, but I then decided to change it and make it square to save on pologons, I mean after all you can't see it during game play, so that is why the picture in the catalog is different from the image you pick up.

As you can see, it gives off the same amount of light as a maxis ceiling light and from this view it is impossible to see.

The light can be grabbed after placement but you may have to go to top-down view and zoom in on it.

Also note: I cloned a base game mesh, but I do have all expansion packs. OK, just uploaded a base game mesh for the tiny light, I created this light on my husbands computer using base game only. Let me know if there are any problems, also you can try this on EPs as well, but I just haven't tested it. If you do use it for other EP's please let me know how it works . Thanks a bunch.

Feel free to include in your houses and lots and please give proper credit for mesh and MUST Be on a FREE sight. You may recolor but what is the point you can't even see it, lol. Thanks for looking and have a great day!!!
