THIS IS MY FIRST MESH-so please be gentle...
First let me say if anyone here at MTS2 has already done this, sorry, I couldn't find it.
I have always hated it while playing, the lights keep getting in my way. I went on a search for a smaller light...couldn't find any here at MTS2 and the one I found at TSR was of course for subscribers only...so I did without...Until I finally got brave, read every tutorial I could find on object meshing here at MTS2 and finally made my own tiny ceiling light and then decided to share with everyone here. Hope you like it and can use it...The light is priced at $25 for your simmies.
As you can see it is TINY!!!
It isn't pretty but who cares, you can't even see it. I made it as small as I could get it with the fewest number of polygons I could get (I think)...The catalog picture is different due to the 1st mesh I made was a small round ball with 108 polygons, but I then decided to change it and make it square to save on pologons, I mean after all you can't see it during game play, so that is why the picture in the catalog is different from the image you pick up.
As you can see, it gives off the same amount of light as a maxis ceiling light and from this view it is impossible to see.
The light can be grabbed after placement but you may have to go to top-down view and zoom in on it.
Also note: I cloned a base game mesh, but I do have all expansion packs. OK, just uploaded a base game mesh for the tiny light, I created this light on my husbands computer using base game only. Let me know if there are any problems, also you can try this on EPs as well, but I just haven't tested it. If you do use it for other EP's please let me know how it works . Thanks a bunch.
Feel free to include in your houses and lots and please give proper credit for mesh and MUST Be on a FREE sight. You may recolor but what is the point you can't even see it, lol. Thanks for looking and have a great day!!!
Polygon Counts:
8
Additional Credits:
MTS2, SimPE, and Milkshape 3-D and of course all of the great tutorials here, I read so many I can't name them all, but they are all right here at MTS2!!!

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.

About Me
I am a mother of 4 and a proud wife of a US soldier and let me tell you that job is one of the hardest out there. As a stay at home mom I realize I use my sims as some sort of escape for awhile. I love to recolor things and build as well as play the game. I am glad I finally started to post things and everyones kind words make me keep on. So I thank everyone for that.
As for my policy:
You can use my skin, hair, makeup, clothing, etc. on your sim uploads just remember credit is nice.
Any recolor of objects maybe used in your lots, again credit is nice.
Please feel free to recolor any meshes I do make, but do NOT include mesh in your upload just link to mesh page, you MAY however us my meshes in your lot uploads, again credit is nice.
PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD TO PAYSITES...MUST REMAIN FREE.
I am not taking requests right now. I am on a major break from creating unless it is something I recolored for my own personal use or a career I decided to make and share. So I just ask that anyone who has sent a PM and on a career request, just know I am not ignoring you, I am just not creating right now.
