This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS2 and in the community.
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
These are buyable acessories for your Trek simmies. They're all found in the catalog under Electronics/Small Electronics. They were cloned off the fingerprint scanner.
Each of the different types of object affect a different skill. The tricorders affect Logic, the phasers and disruptors affect Mechanical, the bat'leth and mek'leth affect Body (what else?), and the PADD affects Charisma (a captain's most important attribute).
There are a total of 17 objects in the set.
Bajoran Tricorder: a stand-alone object
Bat'leth and Mek'leth: 2 objects, affect body skilling
Cardassian: 3 objects. A phaser, a phaser rifle, and a tricorder
Early Starfleet: 3 objects. A phaser, a phaser rifle, and a tricorder
Klingon: 2 objects. A disruptor and a tricorder
Late Starfleet: 4 objects. A phaser, a phaser rifle, a PADD, and a tricorder
Romulan: 2 objects. A disruptor and a tricorder.
The original inspiration for this set was a now-defunct Starfleet career. The skills needed for a promotion are Logic, Mechanical, Body, and Charisma. If I get to it in the distant future, I may right division-specific Starfleet careers. I'm not much of a writer.

Surprise! I found the career, it was just well hidden. Here's the link:

The PADD was a suggestion by MooreSpino. It wasn't in my original plans, but it seemed like an easy mesh. I hope you like it, sister.
I may do a Star Wars themed object set later on, if I can fit it onto my project list. I'm always open to requests/suggestions, but don't be disappointed if I don't get to it for a few months.
