This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Info Furcoats Part 2
To make some wintercoats for my farmerLadies I again used the Glamour pack mesh "afbodycoatfurtrim" and made different versions of it using parts from other EA/Maxis meshes. All new meshes usually can be used even if you only have the basegame.
All meshes have EA/Maxis textures (this time a did my best to make textures that are different than furcoats and a little oldfashioned) and are categorized as Everyday and Outerwear if you have the Seasons expansion.
The adult female textures are also available for Young Adults (if you have University expansion) and Elders as I think that, in coats, the difference in bodyshape is to small to make a separate mesh for Elder Ladies.
All meshes have a nice fatmorph and an UVmap for recolorists, I've kept the shape of the original furcollar so you can use the furtextures from the game.
1. FAfurCollarCoat + FTfurCollarCoat Facecount=2250 Vertexcount=1652
Deleted the belt,lowered the collar, narrowed the sleeves and gave it a straight skirt. 1 texture.
2. FAfurCollarBoots + FTfurCollarBoots Facecount=2396 Vertexcount=1766
Deleted the belt and edge of the skirt,lowered the collar, narrowed the sleeves, gave it low boots and the edge of the skirt a furlayer. 1 texture.
3. FAfurCollarKneePants + FTfurCollarKneePants Facecount=2294 Vertexcount=1696
Deleted belt, lowered collar, narrowed sleeves and shorter coat just above the knee with pants and heels. 3 textures, for my elder and adult farmerswife purple and recolor2= brown - for all recolor4=black and for the Teen I've made an extra blackleatherversion=recolor5 with a fake fur skirtedge.
Known issues : With some actions of the simmies the longer skirt versions tend to cut through limbs and objects. I don't know how to correct that (yet) if possible and I don't think it is seen in normal gameplay. But as I have to examine the meshes very closely, I see everything even just a little bit strange. Even EA/Maxis meshes have issues of cutting through limbs and objects and I never noticed it when playing.
