First upload, be critical, post issues, etc... let's get to the info.

Are you making a living without the need of that carpool coming at the most inconvenient hours of the day? Do you have money literally falling out of the sky?

Are those 'get a job' wants still plaguing your sims despite this?

Introducing... the Blank Career... That's right, this career is completely empty (essentially), with no work hours, no days a week, and no pay (you don't get paid for bludging ...). The only thing it basically has is a Career title, and a job title/description which is the same for every stage.

I've found it annoying when these 'get a job' wants keep appearing whenever my sim is unemployed, even when they just had a want to quit, or have a perfectly fine business making more than twice as much as the top of the Show Biz career (~$15000 a week), and it takes up want-slots that could be better used to get actual wants. Some have money piling up from excess stock.

Update
By request, I have made two more versions of this. One is a business owner, one is a legacy. They are all exactly the same, but they have different titles and descriptions. The Freelancer career also now has an icon (see below)

Titles:
Job: Male/Female
Freelancer: Footloose Fella/Liberated Lady
Business Owner: Spectacular Speculator/Feminine Franchiser
Legacy: Paramont Patriarch/Successful Successor

Descriptions:
Freelancer:
Same for both genders - You're a free (wo)man, you make your own income. As a Freelancer, you make your own way in life, without all that paperwork. Just remember to hand in your paperwork at the end of the day.
Business Owner:
Male - You've got your business in the sky, and things are smooth sailing. There may be some turbulence on the way, but as long as you've got control, the trip should end with a safe landing. Try not to fly into that lightning storm ahead.
Female - Traffic jams, car accidents, huge pollution problems, and that darned glass ceiling. These are the things you're smart enough to avoid. Working at home gives you free hours, an expandable office area, and a nice bit of disposable income. That multi-national business is only a stone throw away, as long as that stone was thrown by Superman.
Legacy:
Male - The world is your oyster. You've just been dubbed as the receiver of that enormous fortune. The only thing you have to worry about now is making sure you don't shove it all down the drain.
Female - Being the heiress to the family legacy, you earn all that money your parents have worked so hard for. Take that guilt trip now, and have your arguments with your siblings, because no one can take this away from you... except the Grim Reaper.

Pay:
Nothing, none, zip, zilch...

Chance Cards:
There shouldn't be any, but even if there were, you won't be seeing it without going to a non-existent job.

Icon:
Freelancer: Updated to have § sign
Business Owner/Legacy: A § sign.

Extras/Notes:
I think you get the point by now... there is absolutely nothing to say about this career. There is NO career reward...
It is EP ready as far as I can tell. I have been following basic tutorials around this site.
This career does have a working hours (technically speaking), so a message will pop-up every night saying blah-blah has the night off.
Version 1.1
This career appears in the paper and computer, but you'd be better off getting it from typing 'Boolprop Testingcheatsenabled true' into the cheat window and Shift-clicking the newspaper, and selecting *AdultCareers > Freelancer

Additional Credits:
The title comes from the Microsoft/Digital Anvil game of the same title, but has nothing to do with an epic space adventure. If they complain about me using it, I am happy to change the title.
Emma_Barrett for posting the very useful tutorial for careers (didn't need too much of it to make this, though ). The base of this career is the template 'Servant' career that essentially has nothing in it, but still has a few things like working-hours (and days... and a pay). I've just changed the things that would be important or are seen in the game.
Made on SimPE, obviously, which was from Quaxi and Bidou
