This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS2 and in the community.
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
I got another request, this time for Maxis' poured wallpapers. There's quite a few, so I divided them into two sets. This first set is made from the Southwestern Style Stucco wallpapers that came with University. Enjoy!
From the left: Banana - Coral - Vanilla - Brick Red - Adventurous White - Calming Blue. How to use: First of all, you need the CEP or the chimneys won't be recolourable at all. Put your fireplace where you want it. If you move it after you recolored it, the chimney will revert to the red bricks. Then, in Buy or Build Mode, select the Design Tool. Click on the chimney, and the recolors will appear. There are quite a few parts to the chimney and they all need to be recolored separately. If you experience any problems or oddities, please let me know. Other Sets: I got a few requests and ended up creating chimney recolors matching all of Maxis outdoor wallpapers (the ones I consider outdoor, that is). There are quite a few recolors, but they're named after their corresponding wallpaper, and you can easily delete the ones you don't want and keep only your favourites. These are the existing sets. If you have any other requests, let me know and I’ll have a look at it.
If you like my work, please hit the Thanks-button. Additional Credits: Numenor for making the chimneys recolorable The creators of SimPE 402 people have said thanks to Kimsie for this download. For more information about this creator and their policies or details, click here.
