This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS2 and in the community.
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
This download is part of the Victorian London Creator Challenge
My Victorians were all begging for novels, so I created a Charles Dickens sim to fulfill their desires. Of course, though, Humble's computer just wouldn't do in his writing room. If only I had the time to learn about meshing (I will soon!), I would have made something that looked a little more like
this fabulous design, alas, a recolor will have to do for now. I pulled some of the texture from those images.
This is a recolor of the Little Sister, WD15 computer from the base game. If I have a bit of time, I will also try a recolor of Humble's computer.
Not too many changes, as you can see, but it seems to fit in WAY better in the houses I allow computers in than say, that big white cheap Moneywell desktop.
Enjoy!
You probably need the
CEP for this to show up.
Note: I've already submitted an
entry for this month's challenge contest, and do not wish for this to be considered. I just wanted to group it with the other things of this theme.

Do with this what you like. Let me know what you think, I always love to hear suggestions. If anyone is willing to make an actual new mesh for a steampunk computer, I would LOVE to see it when it's done.
