This version is provided for AL users. So you don't need to download this version if you don't play AL. There is no new feature included. I just fixed a few parts to make it work in new expansion. If you find anything strange, please let me know~!!

Known AL related bugs

The NPC fails to get the mail. If the mail option is turned on, you will experience a series of object error continously. I think it happens because my NPCs don't know how to handle the brand-new mail box introduced in AL.

Solution: Please click the AIO painting and then turn off the mail option (you can find it under Options.../ or More Options.../ menu).

Brief Introduction

All-In-One NPC: A custom npc set which provide you with a 24/7 working NPC. This NPC will do maid, gardener, handyman, cook, firefighter, coach, bartender and so on.

Nanny NPC: A custom npc set which provide you with a 24/7 working nanny.

How to use

Buy the painting and stove item and place them in your lot. Wait for at least one sim hour.

Tips

1. Cooking

1) Please buy the "All-In-One" painting and place it on your kitchen wall.
2) Place a "stove" including custom ones, in that "same" kitchen.
3) Double check if you placed the stove in that room. Room is divided by walls. Even if it looks like a same room, sometimes it has a different room number if you look into the log.
4) Place a "dining" table in that room. No tea tables or computer desks.
5) Do not place any decorative object on that dining table.
6) Place "dining" chairs in the right direction in that room. No bar stools or lounge, living chairs.
7) You can control how many dishes will be served by adding and reducing the chairs.
8) Turn on cook option. See if the option has been changed to "cook - turn off".

2. Autonomy

1) There are three options. "Full time", "Limited (or night time)", and "Sit down".
2) The controller will call every NPC once a sim hour, so they won't be too much autonomous but they won't be like robots so it's useful sometimes.
3) You will need the special npc bed to let npcs sleep at night. Find it at the bed category.

3. Firefigther option

1) This is experimental and dangerous sometimes.
2) Fire alarm is a lot more safe.

4. Assign

At the first time, do not assign. Instead, please wait for one sim hour after buying the painting or stove. Then the scheduler will write a custom NPC for you. If you see how it works and get used to the options, then try assigning a townie.

Because normal sims have different set of functions, it's possible that they can be released from the control unexpectedly and don't work fine as regular Ai1s. In such cases, please just switch to ai1s.

5. Businees add-on

1) Open your shop.
2) Buy the antique cash register machine and assign ai1s. Then they will sell goods.
3) This is experimental and provided as-is.

6. Pay

1) Wait till your NPCs show up.
2) Set up working hours.
3) Turn on pay option using preferences menu.
4) If you move in ains or nannies, the pay token controller will check how many tokens they have, and will give the accumulated money back to them. It will be limited to about $32,000.

7. Uninstallation

1) Remove all files from your downloads folder.
2) Kill all of my NPCs using the tweak tool, or just let them live free.

Best Place to Test My NPCs

When I write this NPC set, I usually test it in Brandi Broke's lot or Darren Dreamer's house. If you have not played their house and didn't change their kichen and so on, please try it in their house. Nannies will take care of Beau Broke as soon as they arrive, and Ai1s will clean and so on. Also because Brandi and Darren has a perfectly designed kitchen for Ai1s, NPCs will cook if they find the table is empty.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) or Stuffit (Mac) to extract the .package file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).

3. Place in Downloads Folder: Cut and paste the .package file(s) into your Downloads folder:

I don't think I have assign servo on my assign options. I will have to check it out next time I run the game.

Uhm no mamn, if you don't have any problem with the old version, then you won't need the new version. There are only a few things changed and those are mostly seasons related features.

Haha I like this download.
I downloaded this yesterday and started playing the Sims. It got really interesting when I assigned a person. First I got a guy who didn't do any work and just started harassing my female sim. He got along great with the male sim though [I guess he was gay]. Then I put the stove in and got a female sim who only wanted to cook. [believe me, I had every option turned on] Then all my sims wanted to do was workout. [I realized I had the Coach option turned on] So all in all this was pretty fun to play around with. I fixed it though, but now when the NPC goes to greet someone, they just nod heads and the greeted person walks off the lot.

That is a sort of sync problem. It often happens when those visitors are not greeted on time. Sometimes npcs discover them when they are already almost over the half of the sidewalk so they were greeted but they go away. We can see npcs "chasing" visitors very often. It also happens when npcs try to accept deliveries. It's a different case but delivery persons doesn't always give the goods to ai1s. They just pick up anybody they see randomly and then goes away. If it's a lucky day ai1 will get the deliveries but there's a high chance that other family member was already picked up as a volunteer.

I hope you can help me. I have all EPs and stuff packs including Kitchen/Bath, which I forgot about when I downloaded your hack/mod (which I think is great) but now when I create a new sim and try to place them on a lot, it sticks on the loading screen even though my Sim goes to the lot. I know they do cause I see them on the pip which pops up on the blue loading screen. Did I do wrong? Is it not compatible? Or do I have a conflict? Or perhaps none of the above, just some strange glitch that someone knows about. Thanks for any help.

Still not able to change clothes on either the nanny or the all-in-one. I have the Boutique Clothing Rack but what exactly am I supposed to do. Please help (want them in victorian outfits). This (especially the nanny one) is the best hack ever! Thanks, thanks.

I perfectly understand how you feel, because I thought the very same things a lot of times I, too, decided several times to take a break from the modding activity because I didn't find it funny any more, but then I always came back :D
I also found extremely funny to update some very old mods of mine, when necessary, though in general it's something I don't like, too.
However, the whole problem of updating old mods is probably only theoretical: from what I read around, it seems that no more EP are due (the stuff packs don't count)...

I appreciate your work on this program, but you must understand that people always want someone to stand behind there work, even their gifts to us, which this is. It's just a human trait. I feel it, even tho I know I should just be grateful for the gift given. Perhaps it is my own lack of knowledge for creating such mods and hacks, which makes me want creators to continue supporting for my EPs and stuff. But a lot of people do not use each EP/stuff as I do, and so many will continue to use your wionderful ideas for years to come and you should not be a slave to our game preferences. Sorry if I or my fellows made you feel at any time, anything but our deepest gratitude for your gifts. This goes for all Modders here at MTS2, please forgive our lack of gratitude some times, and keep in mind that we may seem ungrateful some times, but we dont really mean to be. We are just infatuated with the game and creations. Thank you all.

To Kir: what happens when you try? Can you pick the NPC in question with "Neighbour buy clothes?" Is the NPC maybe living at the lot? Then he/she is not a neighbour. Check that the options on the clothing rack are set to "on", which means that you have the "off" option to pick on the menu.
To Christianlov: you are the best! TY again for all you hard work! No need to update stuff that really did work excellent through several expansions.. just a great bonus to have them use the new possibilities of the recent ones, ty for that! Do the modding you think is fun for YOU - and I am sure we will also agree with you if you decide to share! And overall, play the game, enjoy real life and take care! Your mods have really added so much to my game, I will be eternally grateful.

I was using this and noticed the Ain1 Sims don't compost if there is one available.. I would prefer them to compost if there is a compost bin available..

Also noticed they don't always answer the phone when you enable them to, do they wait to answer when no one else is available?

they may not compost because that seems to be a new feature in seasons?? (am i right???). they may not recognize those objects or the game may not allow them to use that atm...

no they don't wait to answer, they should answer the phone. they do a few checks before answering a call but they will answer it. they seemed to answer phone in my game last time when i chekd them in ft, isn't your phone in use or something?

simple and easy way to check what is the cause is removing this hack from the downloads folder and then run the game. if it cures the problem, then this hack may be the cause. but in most cases, it doesn't interfere with loading a lot because it just have two global hack items. mostly it comes from a hack which is not compatiable with the current version of the game. often it comes from a carreer mod which sneaked in a downloaded lot. if you play the game in debug mode by typing the boolprop cheat, you may get an error message while loading the lot. then please press "delete" and the game will write a log. please look into the log and it may give a hint on what was the cause.

I just want to thank you Christianlov for this wonderful NPC. I love this character i use her alllll the time for my sims and i even have more than one of them on many of my lots. I just hope that for the last expansion pack ( the apartments one) that it will be compatible with the game, cuz if not i don't know what i would do with out her. Again THANK YOU so much for making this download it has been very helpful
