happycowlover	What about custom careers? Will they be affected also? I wouldn't want my sims in the custom Mechanic and Psychology tracks making the big bucks too. LOL

This will only change the Maxis careers and doesn't touch custom careers, sorry.

SIMposiast	This is a great concept! How about doing one for 1/4 the original value as well? I really want my sims to struggle to make ends meet.

If u want to use the original payment again, just remove the files in ur downloadfolder. The salerys fall back to the original with a new gamestart. The effect is just in the time, this hacks are in ur downloadfolder. So, all Sims will have "normal" payment after removing.

Rippsaw Test Subject Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 14	I have all of the eps so I got the all-ep.zip, but I don't see any difference in the base game jobs. I also tried to use the base game only download and there is still no difference, all of the other eps jobs are the way your mod makes them though.

Do u use other modifications/hacks thats touch the base careers? Or OFB mods for payouts?

This is the only mod I have at all, and I don't have OFB installed.

Why weird?
It is not always the exactly half.
You can "fix" this by editing the files by ourself with simpe.

maybe there can be a mod where it adds your paycheck everyday plus the bonuses if you get promoted then on sunder or friday it gives it to you
that'd be awesome

anyways great mod

use this mod in the broke family its so hard!

Bolyn	I really love this mod It takes some time getting used to, as my sims have been swimming in luxury for far too long. Now they get to struggle like real people and work bonuses are REAL bonuses again. It had been way too easy for a single sim to live in their own mansion. Thank you so much for making this

Remy Luv	Merci, I really like this a lot. There's no logical reason why all my Sims need to be rich; on the contrary, they should suffer. Especially the one woman who likes picking fights with the nanny. D: If I wanted to edit the files myself with SimPE, would it be easy enough? I'm not a modder by any means.

Yeah it is

(see image below).
1. Open the file in SimPE 2. chose the career
3. edit payment (Level 1-10, Level 0 doesn't "exist" so its always "0")
4. press the "commit" button and save the file

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) or Stuffit (Mac) to extract the .package file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).

3. Place in Downloads Folder: Cut and paste the .package file(s) into your Downloads folder:

Windows XP: Documents and Settings\(Current User Account)\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\
