Part 2 of my Willow River Project. See part 1 and notes on the project here.
The amusement park features an interactive carousel, ferris wheel, jumping castle, bumper cars, log ride, spook house ride and entertaining clowns. This is basically everything from Echo's wonderful carnival set and add-ons plus Jasana's ferry wheel. Your Sims will have tons of fun visiting this lot. There is also a nice picnic area with grill and snack machines so they can eat and socialize. The townies will ride the spook house ride and the bumper cars autonomously. They will get on the ferris wheel if someone turns it on for them. I have not seen anyone get on the carousel or log ride by themselves. These items make such a nice change of pace as they are so different from anything else. Echo produced the equivalent of another stuffpack!
Custom Content Required But Not Included
The core of the carnival set is not included with the lot. These are heavily modded items and I highly recommend reading Echo's original thread. Get the following items here:
bumpercar mesh
bumpercar recolors
cart direction changer
cart runner
clown accessories
clown female
clown male
clown podium recolor
dancing skeleton
rollercoaster cart
spooky cart
track floor tiles
waterfall 2lvl
The carousel included with the lot is not the one from the carnival set. If you would like it with sound, download the sound files here.
I fell in love with this sunshade from XMSims. If you don't download it, it will just revert back to a rug on your lot and you could replace it with a maxis umbrella. Get it here.

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Bubbajoe's Lots
My lots are built to be functional in-game.
My lots are built to be played in cut-away view.
While building my lots, I aim for a clean, crisp appearance while maintaining visual interest and good sight lines.
No filters, no photo actions. What you see is what you get.
I can do Maxis-match but I usually prefer to recreate something in real life.
Which is weird because I generally avoid English and RL images in Sim clothing and decor.
I had a lot more verbiage describing my philosophy of Sim-architecture and ended up sounding absolutely insufferable so to paraphrase Coco Chanel:
before leaving the house, a lady should look at the accessories and remove one mirror.
No restrictions on TOU. If you claim my stuff as your own or try to monetize it, you have bigger problems than I do.
