I built this awhile back before I had Apartment Life or Mansion & Garden. I opted to name the street of my new set of split-level homes "Divided Drive." Sadly, it was the best I could come up with, but to me it sounds better than "Split Street." This house has 4 levels inside, which was a challenge. I used a houseplan as a guide, but ended up making some major changes on the inside, and a few on the outside as well. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Hopefully, I will be able to make a few more of these split-level homes, as they are a fun challenge to build.
The only thing I wish were different about the house is that when the roof is completely up, the dormers appear to be blocking part of the loft bedroom. Open the last thumbnail photo to see what I mean. However, your sims can move around in that area without any problem, and in normal play you will not even see the dormers in the bedroom because they are technically on a different level. Oh, and the loft is also built to be weatherproof for Seasons.
