This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Hey everyone,
As soon as I bought Mansions and Garden Stuff, I absolutely fell in love with some of the pretty new plants available. The only downside was the fact that they were all restricted to being in pots and planters. I wanted them to be available as proper plants growing from the ground, so I extracted them and made this set. They are all available in the build mode catalogue.

M&G Unpotted Set contains 7 New Meshes.

**Plants on bottom are the unpotted versions.

In addition, I made some scaled versions of the Titan Arum. I made a 1/2 size version (Thanks to Phaenoh for the request) and a 1/4 size tabletop version.

The poly counts of all the meshes are the same as the maxis, but without the pots. Exact counts below.

Polygon Counts:
Burrow: Faces=668, Vertex=824
Cactus: Faces=931, Vertex=1045
Coleus: Faces=582, Vertex=731
Small Arum: Faces=628, Vertex=459
Perennials: Faces=840, Vertex=656
Planter: Faces=569, Vertex=497
PSB's: Faces=632, Vertex=542
Potted Arums: Faces=1118, Vertex=792 (Both sizes the same polycount)

Additional Credits:
Phae for ideas and opinions and Echo for forcing me to list all the polycounts.
Numenor and Quaxi For SimPE, Numenor for the CEP.
Kate at parsimonious for allowing cloning of her perfect single subset outdoot plant mesh. (Stupid Maxis can't make a single well cloned plant)
Paint.NET, UV Mapper Classic, Wings 3D.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Oh! Squeee. They are finished! *Grabs the meshes and runs away*

Thanks so much for these, especially the smaller Arums - I loved that plant when I saw it, but the Maxis size was just ridiculous. Much appreciated!

Thank you so much. I too love all the plants, but wish that they were like you made them without pots. Any chance you can do more from other sets?

hi hi~
I love these plants! But I do not have the mansion&gardon SP... Is this a new mesh like you
said, or do I have to have M&G to make it work?

You need M&G. I specifically made them require M&G so its not unfair to Maxis.

Thanks for your comments everyone. I'm not sure if I'll do any others at this time.

Do these pull their textures from the original plants?

So that if I recolor the M&G plants the recolors will show on your meshes with out having to have double textures?

Thank you very much for doing this! I spend more time making gardens than I do actually playing with my sims, so I just love getting new flowers. These are great.

No, I decided against repository technique because I made them base-game for my personal use so I can use them without M&G installed. Sorry.
