|Shadalan||This is possibly my favorite neighborhood. I've restarted several times- wipe my downloads and nuke my neighborhoods and all that- and I always seem to end up downloading this neighborhood again anyway.|

|Anaticula||Installed this nieghborhood last night and I love it. The houses are beautiful. I've been setting up my sims so that I can start playing them this weekend. Thank you!|

This neighborhood is nothing short of amazing. I've given every Sim in it some kind of ocean-themes last name XD

This neighbourhood is all sorts of gorgeous. It has helped me get over the loss of my two year old custom hood that went the way of the fire ball. Thank you.
I am having one issue with the House on Hammerhead Cliff. The far right side of the spare room (all tiles) as well as 2 of the 3 tiles that the living room couch sits on seem to not be registering as floor. When I try to replace the couch the new couch is placed on the ground below the foundation. When I try to place anything along the far right wall of the spare room, ditto. It looks like there are tiles there, but they don't hold objects. Attempting to lay new tiles results in them being laid on the ground under the house.
Using moveObjects cheat does not help. Attempting to add columns underneath or rebuild the foundation also doesn't do anything. I can live with an empty wall in that spare room, but I really loathe that couch (which can be used, and sits up on the floor fine but just can't be deleted and a new one placed there).

How do I "force placement" of a lot that was built without roads? I am trying to put it back in exactly the space it came from, so terrain elevation shouldn't be an issue. I work on a Mac and can't use all of Mootilda's fancy tools, so I'm a bit in the dark as to whether this is even fixable.
My "House on Hammerhead Cliff" got all messed up once snow tried to settle on the ground. Suddenly "play mode" wasn't visible, but buy, build, story, and save were okay. Once I switched to buy I could switch back to play but the screen stayed looking like buy mode. I could find the pause/play buttons and set things in motion despite not having the right screen. When I'd toggle back to buy mode the screen would now reflect the changes in actions of the characters that had been invisible. My first question is has anybody ever encountered this with snow on this lot?
From the hood screen I moved the family out and then back in. The problem persisted. I moved them to a new home and deleted House on Hammerhead. This is not happening on any other lot in the Hood or with this family in their new lot, fyi. I still love the lot though and wanted a replacement. I downloaded from someone's livejournal a combo (megahood) of all 3 of Plasticbox's hoods. I went to Elsewhere in the combo hood and moved a brand new (never occupied) House on Hamerhead Cliff into the lots and houses bin. I was unable to replace it where it had just come from on the map. I am also unable to place it in my other (stand alone) Elsewhere. I'm almost certain it has to do with the fact there is no road on this lot.
So does anybody have an in-game way to force placement of special lots such as these?
ETA: The great Mootilda has helped me out with fixing the issue of replacing the lot. I'd still love to know what others' experiences have been with snow on this lot.

||Was this perhaps based off the town in the book "Elsewhere"?|

THANK YOU SO MUCH! This is my favourite neighbourhood of all times!
I love all the houses from your backdoorlane-series as well, but this town is the best.
I named it New Haven, put all the base game townies in there (Brandon Lillard, Benjamin Long, etc.) and wrote some stories about them. If someone wants to read I have them on my sims page here: http://stoffelsim.npage.de/ but it's in GERMAN of course .

|novaminsulfon||I downloaded Elsewhere years ago and I just realized I hadn't thanked it yet... I guess I was too busy playing it I love it so much that I haven't played any other neighborhood since I got hooked on your beautiful buildings. My sims are starting generation 6 and the cemetary is threatening to explode with tombstones... anyways, I LOVE Elsewhere. Not that you're leaving me a choice. <3|

|Atrinosia||I've always loved this neighborhood. It the final hours of my Sims 2 playing....this was the only hood I ever used. I'm seriously thinking about re-installing my Sims 2 games just to play in this hood....and to start a few businesses....I reeeeally miss OFB....|
