This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
What the heck are matched mismatched eyes?
These eyes are a recolour of
GeneralZoi's Cyborg Eye, an acccessory that allows you to put two different eye colours on sims. Only problem with that is, you need to recolour the accessory for each eye colour you want to have as a mismatched eye.
The Matched Mismatched Eyes can at least partially eliminate that need: these are recolours of the cyborg eye, but they adapt to your defaults. Instead of pointing to textures within the files themselves, they point to the five default eye colours. So if you use Maxis eyes, they will match the Maxis eyes. If you use default eyes, they will automatically pick up the textures for your default eyes, and use those instead, as shown in my screenshot using my
Blasphemy Defaults. Switch defaults, and they will change too, without you having to download anything more, or do anything different. Neat, huh?
They are accurately tooltipped in game so you can easily choose the right eye on the Change Appearance screen without having to squint.
Mesh required!
You must download and install GeneralZoi's Cyborg Eye Mesh for these recolours to work in your game!
