Well, I just got tired of the maps provided by Maxis. I like real-like stuff. There in my neighborhoods you can see real known people (not just Joes Carr, argh!), same about buildings. And as I wasn't able able to find many real-city looking neighborhood terrain maps based on real neighborhoods, I decided to create someones.

For people like me who live in the center of a big city, the land is Flat. Full of streets, avenues, etc. I learned that in order for you to edit Sims2 streets you must buy Simcity4, so I did. Then I searched for real maps, I tried to analize them so to create an acceptable REPRESENTATION of them. I mean they include mainly their most representative streets and avenues, *not all of them*. So here it is, the first part of Mexico City project. I've already created five of its most representative neighborhoods, so far these are:

1.- Mexico City (Southern Mexico City)
2.- Centro Historico (intended as downtown)
3.- Zona Rosa (( full of discos, restaurants, cafes, bars, go-go's, etc. it's the coolest place to have fun, (intended as downtown too or shopping district))
4.- Santa Fe (It's the biggest Shopping Mall in Mexico)
5.- Ciudad Universitaria (Universitary City is the biggest University in Mexico and Latin America)

In next weeks I'll try to post all of them, one by one. Now I've just uploaded the first file.

There you have it. Be aware the file doesn't include any custom content nor decorations. What you see on the pictures are someones I placed so you can have a better idea what the maps like like when finished. Decorations are up to you and should be downloaded separately. The stone bridges are included in the sims base-game, but all else can be found in MTS2.

The map if full of streets and avenues. You'll notice that in the middle of it there's a 4-way avenue. It was designed to place railways and subway stations. I suggest you to download those by Criquette, which are the ones I used as decorations in the main picture you see above, here is the link:

If you would like to fill your city with real buildings, BELLAS ARTES Palace (Fine Arts Palace) is already available by SIMCOATL, here in MTS2, this is his link:
