Cabrini6000- Actually, the first four Sookie Stackhouse books were published 4 years before the Twilight series.

You should watch though. It's a great show.

Cabrini6000- herculean is right. plus if you read the books (don't know if you have, but i'm assuming you haven't if your saying it's a rip-off) , you would see the two are as different as night and day. twillight is more so aimed at teens, while i think sookie stackhouse/ true blood more towards adults.

Excuse me, but you need to check your publishing dates. Charlaine Harris started writing the Sookie Stackhouse novels years before Stephanie Meyer wrote the first word of "Twilight." If anyone is ripping something off, it's Ms. Meyer.

Too bad the Sookie Stackhouse books (what True Blood is based off of) were written BEFORE twilight... So to correct you, Twilight is a ripoff of True Blood.

Actually True Blood came before Twilight. The True Blood series is based on a book series that was made years ago, before Twilight. So technically if you think anythings a rip off, Twilight is. But personally I think they are both unique ideas, neither rip offs.
