This is a set of two custom non-replacement eyeshadows. This was made by request for PuppyLover7404 : ) version 1 is a more condensed look and version 2 is more washed out and spread around the eye. both are included in the download!

* fully tintable
* can be found in makeup>eyeshadow
* works on teen>elder
* male and female

To install download and place in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages

version 2

version 1

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Key: - File was updated after upload was posted
Filename - Tip: You can click the magnifying glass to see the archive contents Size Downloads Date
Papercat faded flare.rar 40.2 KB 10,415 26th Jul 2009
Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Just what I was wanting! Sheers are so beautiful, on eyes, lips and cheeks. I'm so tired of sims with crayon-bright eyeshadow. Thanks!

Thank you very much for your non replacement make up uploads. As make up that comes as full mask make up doesn't work for me, I really appreciate it!
Great work!

cute! I love all the makeup you've made, they're subtle and allow our sims to look more realistic, as if they were not wearing makeup at alll!

I tried this in game and it's so awesome! The only thing that would make it more awesome would be if there was a version that was only on the eyelid. As a makeup artist I like to smudge some eyeshadow under my eye, but not always in the same color as on my lid, so on my Simmies I tend to get this two color effect with liner and the eye shadow that is only on the lid, but now I am in love with this sheer eyeshadow, so I would adore a lid-only version.

I'm sorry, maybe it's not the place to ask, but I didn't wanna bother you with PMs.
Do you use CTU for making your make ups? I'm new in this hole CC thingy and was trying to figure out make-ups but didn't made any good progress. I don't know where or how to import my modified dds file and it's just the begining of my problems... So, if it's not asking too much can you show me the way?
I'm sorry again, and I love the things you make, but I don't like making requests and wanted to try something. If there's any make-up tuto that you know and I missed i'll be glad too.
Thanks and sorry for the blabling ;p

I really love this eye look! Especially playing around with skin toned shades. I've gotten so many amazing combos with this, it's a must have for me! :)
