The idea for this build was born out of AwesomeMod's rigorous accounting feature, which nixes the 16k handout given to Sims moving out--instead giving them their fair share of the household funds. As much as I like the realism, this means that many young adult Sims can't afford to move out unless their parents have a lot of cash or they get a roommate. Being too kind to doom my Sims to a life spent in their parents' basement or tethered to their best friend, I decided to build an uber-cheap starter that actually looked like something I'd like to live in.

I used the 16 x 18 lot in Sunset Valley that the Little Corsican Bistro is on. This helps with the cost, but please note that while you can place this home on any of the 20 x 30, more common, sized lots, it's not going to be under $10,000. It will however, be well within a $16,000 budget.

No custom patterns in this build! What you see is what you get.

Also...
I swear on my goldfish's grave that I didn't depreciate this house to bring the price down. For reals.
