The Lupin Cafe - No CC, Community, and a return to form!

Well, it's been a while, hasn't it! Major computer troubles have been causing me no end of troubles, which is why I haven't had a place up in so long, but hey - better late than never, right? This little cafe is the first thing I build on reinstalling the game, and I love it to pieces. It's become my favourite place to send sims to get dates, and fits well with all the 'hood's i've tried it in so far.

The cafe itself is a smallish single room building, with a barn-style mansard roof and large windows to let in the light. There are instruments on one side, some tables and the coffee station, so it's not overcrowded. The room is pretty sparse, to be honest - but there's a reason for that. I wanted to put some big, colourful paintings on the back wall to sell, and add some sculptures, as I figure that when I reinstall OFB it'll make a perfect little business for an up and coming artist to use as a gallery. However, you're the people downloading it - so it's been left blank for you to do with as you please =]

Outside, there's a well-tended garden, full of colour and inspiration, and a large seating area on the patio. There are also outside toilets (as seen in the image above!) for any patrons of the cafe or casual passers-by. The flowers and trees are rather large in number - if the lot seems to run slow in your game, just take a couple out and it should speed right up. I'm just enjoying being able to have more than one tree on a lot again =D

The lot is community-zoned, and would make a great business for OFB users, costing only 36,750 fully-furnished. It's made with Freetime, Apartment Life and Mansion & Garden stuff, mainly because those are the only games I've got round to installing so far, and has been resized to 2x1 using Mootilda's fan-fricking-tastic LotAdjuster - give that thing a go yourself if you haven't done so yourself yet, I can't rate it high enough.

Have fun!

(finally, the little sim with his back to you in the thumbnail is Zeke, and he's avaliable from my wordpress mini-site)

Lot Size: 2x1
Lot Price: 36,750
