This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Did you ever want to put those utensil and pot decorations in your sims' kitchen but were put off by those terrible, cheesy stencils on them? Well, I have, and today I decided to fix these once and for all!
I have removed the rooster and sunflower stencils on both the pots and the utensil holder, and changed the way it is recolored.
The utensil holder has 3 recolorable channels, one of which is the utensils themselves, and the other two are the utensil holder and the details around the top of the pot (you'll notice in the screenshots below, I made the detail lighter so you can notice it).
On the pots I also kept 3 recolorable channels, except I made the pot one recolorable channel, the lid another, and I also made the handle for the lid a separate channel!
Both the utensils and the pot have a shiny and a non shiny object in game. So You will have duplicates in your catalog, but be aware these are not the same! One has a reflectivity and the other is matte (also shown in photos below)
These can be found in the same area as the maxis originals, that is, in the miscellaneous deco objects section. The utensils are 5$ for both shiny and matte versions, and the pots are 20$.
One last thing, you might notice when you click the pots' icon that you can still see that sunflower on it, you must chose another style (click on the icon and wait a few moments before releasing the click, you should see a small screen, just scroll to the end and choose the last thumbnail, with a blank pot). Unfortunately, I couldn't find a work-around for this, and I was tricked in the beginning as well!
Enjoy!
