The classic First Person Shooter/RPG/Adventure game hybrid 'Deus Ex' (2000) is what I and many others consider the very best PC game ever made. This very dark (in every sense of the word) game based in a near-future cyberpunk world filled with conspiracies where nothing is as it seems, has to be played to be appreciated for its intelligent writing, memorable characters, immersive world and freewill gameplay. And once played, you will definitely be replaying it, and most likely more than once.

The hero of the game, who you play as, is JC Denton, 23-year-old new recruit fresh from the training academy where he's spent his life being bred to be, basically, a killing machine for UNATCO, the United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition. His body has been implanted throughout with bioaugmentations that give extra strength to his arms, legs, hearing and vision - in fact, his vision is so augmented that he needs to wear sunglasses at all times, not least because his solid blue glowing cyber-eyes would understandably freak out the general public. He is in fact an eleven-years-younger clone of Paul Denton, the world's first bioaugmented agent; JC was created in order to become an even stronger and more technically advanced model than his 'older brother', who is still an active UNATCO agent.

Traits: Athletic, Brave, Daredevil, Good, Handy. He is found in the Adult (not Young Adult) sim bin.

JC's face overlay makes him 'anatomically correct', in the sense of his glowing cyber eyes and his facial augmentations. Deus Ex purists please note that although I have used the textures from the game to make his face augs, I was not able to reproduce them accurately due to the limitations of the TS3 facial sculpt, which distorted them too much, turning them into wavy lines all over the place. So I've had to improvise a simpler shortened version.




His outfit is a trenchcoat and trousers mesh I created, but decided to make it knee-length rather than calf-length as in the Deus Ex game, due to The Sims series' limitations in longer coats having to be fixed to the sim's legs (so that the long part of the coat doesn't stick straight out when the sim sits down), an effect I hated in TS2!








Custom Hair polycount: JC's hair is a mesh I created by modifying the TS3 men's wavy messy hair, so it only has a low polycount of 2160.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip the .zip file, and you'll have several files, one of which ends in .sim and the rest of which end in .package. Simply copy the .sim file to your 'Saved Sims' folder which is in your Documents folder under Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims, then copy the .package files to your Mods\Packages folder.
