"Viper Canyon Dream House"

This collection is the first in an ongoing series of Base Game Only, No Custom Content homes by StephSim's Designers Inc.. Basically, you can download 4 homes for the price of one. What? Glad you asked.

The Viper Canyon "Dream House" has 4 versions. There is a STARTER version house, a RENOVATED version of the house, a FAMILY version of the house and a LUXURY version of the house. Basically, this is a 3 x 2 lot with the same house that has been redecorated and updated to fit a Simmer as they go through life. The Starter home is for a single Sim, an expectant single Sim, 2 single Sims, a couple just starting out without kids or a couple with a baby on the way. The Renovated home is a better decorated version of the original house. The baby room is fully decorated, but can be easily changed out to fit your Sims needs. The Family home is for a couple with 2 children. A second level has been added to the house, an outdoor pool and too many other upgrades to list! The Luxury home has been renovated from the Family version into a 2 bedroom luxury home with all the possible amenities a Sim could dream of having.So if you are looking for a desert oasis that grows with your Sims (as they move from First Time Home Buyers to transforming their home into the perfect Retirement space), look no further!

The houses were built on the same land (3 x 2 lot) so upgrading will be easy. Each lot is furnished to meet the needs of the families as they make more money. Each lot is a step above the next with things like toilets, counters and beds being updated to the more expensive versions.

We didn't want to spoil your experience in this article by sharing images of the houses. So...we suggest you attend the upcoming OPEN HOUSE!

Lot Description:
This house is furnished to meet the basic needs of your Sims as they work hard to start life on their own. It is minimally decorated with the bare necessities. The house is 1 story (with a high ceiling above the Living Room). There are 2 bedrooms (1 decorated), a full bathroom with a shower/tub, 1 toilet and 1 sink. There is a small dining room and a separate kitchen.

This house is "move-in" ready and your Simmies are free from yard work!

Lot Description:
This one-story house is an improved decorated version of the Starter Viper Canyon house. Additional furnishings have been added to each room and some items (like counters, televisions and bathroom sets) have been updated. The exterior has been redone with white siding and landscaped. A small patio has been added outside as well. There are 2 small bedrooms (1 a decorated baby room), a spacious living room, a cozy dining room and a separate kitchen.

This house is "move-in" ready and your Simmies have minimal yard work!

Viper Canyon - FAMILY Dream House
Lot Size: 3 x 2
Lot Cost: 100,000

Lot Description:
This house is a major step up from the original Starter house. It has 2 stories, outside landscaping, a children's playground area, a covered patio, an upper balcony, a fenced in barbecue area and a swimming pool. The exterior siding has been updated to a mellow mustard color (a favorite in Simsville). Downstairs Interior: an entryway with a wardrobe closet, a full kitchen, a dining room, a cozy living room and a full bath with a shower. Upstairs Interior: 3 Bedrooms (Master Bedroom with bath and 2 children's bedrooms with a hall bath).

This house is "move-in" ready and your Simmies if you don't have a green thumb, we suggest hiring a gardener!

Viper Canyon - LUXURY Dream House
Lot Size: 3 x 2
Lot Cost: 235,000

Lot Description:
This house is the ultimate renovation for the original Starter house. It has 2 stories, outside landscaping, a carport (for use with Nightlife EP...just add a driveway and extension or even transform the space into a single car garage), a covered patio and barbecue area, an upper balcony, a fenced-in swimming pool with gym equipment, a garden Jacuzzi and an outdoor bar. The exterior siding has been updated to an ornate tan brick with the upper level being a rustic brown color. Downstairs Interior: an entryway with a wardrobe closet, a full kitchen, a dining room, an exquisitely decorated living room and a lavish full bathroom with a state of the art shower. Upstairs Interior: 2 Bedroom Suites each with a separate bathroom and a private balcony. The Master Bedroom also includes a private office. There is a joint balcony in the rear of the upper level for stargazing.

This house is "move-in" ready and we strongly suggest hiring a gardener to take care of the landscape!

Inspiration for the Dream House Collection
I have been drowning in "medieval madness" with my Gwrych Project. I wanted to build a few medieval lots for EVERYONE using fewer EPs. While testing the BASE GAME ONLY Any Game Starter setup, I decided to build a lot using Base Game only just to see what it was like to build in memory lane. Initially, I found myself baffled at the lot building limits and flaws with Base Game. Then, I warmed up to using Base Game only and decided to build a small set of lots that grew with your Simmies. Basically, I wanted to free Simmers from having to find a house to fit the Sim families they already have that are move in ready. I also wanted to give Simmers something to look forward to as their Simmies earned more money and moved up in the world. Basically, your Simmies can purchase the Starter house right away and begin saving. Once they have 50,000 Simoleons saved up, you can basically place the Renovated lot in the neighborhood (or in the same spot even) and move your Simmies in without having to decorate. Then your Simmies can aspire for the FAMILY HOME and finally the LUXURY HOME. I hope "someone" out there finds this concept practical.

I also created these lots to meet the needs of a current Sim family you may already have. So, basically, download the lot that fits your Sim needs. Basically, give your Simmies the house of their dreams!

There will be a Dream House Collection set of homes for each Sims 2 neighborhood available in Base Game (Any Game Starter). Please keep in mind that this collection is something I do to break the monotony of larger projects.

The next set from this collection will be "VERONAVILLE" Dream Home Collection!

SUGGESTED ADDITIONS:
There is a small 2 tile space in the kitchen of the FAMILY lot and a room at the top of the Stairs in the LUXURY lot meant for a washer and dryer. Here are a couple of suggested downloads to fit into those spaces to bring your Sim laundry space to life!
